To Osama and the Boys from an American Wife & Mother

My son-in-law asked me to look up this site and print it out for him. It says a lot.

    AMEN !! Pastor Paul, AMEN!!

A Bro of mine sent this in an email, the subject line was "Makes you think...":

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and
injured 1,000, President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel, Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel, Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000, Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S.sailors, Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 7,000 people would be alive today.

This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without casting stones, it is a legitimate question.

There are two men, both extremely wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives hundreds of millions of dollars to charity.

    The other sponsors terrorism.

That being the case, why is it that the US government spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over the past 9 years than Osama bin Laden?

I agree with Marc, I find it suprising how moved I am over some of the articles coming out at sept 11. I try not to read them at work, you never know who is walking up to you cube.

I also agree. I read this at work and had that lump in my throat. This was the last place on the web I thought I'd see such sentiment.
In the past few years I have often felt bitter and not so proud of our great country. Yet my mind was changed on Sept. 11 and I have never been effected so deeply by anything in my life. It has reversed all those negative thoughts altogether. I pray that we don't forget how proud and strong we are. Our generation from 1 to 100 is now unique in history just as those who have lived through the atrocities of our country's past. We can truly be proud and pat ourselves on the back. This is something we can easily look back on just to pump us back up again. Our ancestors must be saying, "fu**ing-A, that spirit is still alive and stronger then ever after 400 years."

Thanks for the great read. I needed that.

I knows what Ya mean, Boy howdy,
    I knows what Ya mean.

    Welcome to the human race.
That's another thing Mom & Dad taught me.....
Sometimes its just best not to hold it back.

    I see I'm not alone.

    We are a Nation United.

One beautiful thing about those tears,
    Folks do understand.

    We'll always wonder why,
    We will never forget.
