Talk to a utility worker (Electrical, Phone). They absolutely hate squirrels. Seems theres a chemical in there urine that destroys the insulation of phone and electrical wires. So if your lights go black or your phone line is noisy, there's a good chance it's do to squirrels.

Tim: This is one of those situations where I blurted out loud at work and I couldn't share it with my coworkers. Our organization is ultrasensitive about any form of pictures or literature that may be sensitive towards harassment etc and the like, but this is funny.

I'm finally getting our local squirrels to be a bit more trusting. I think the squirrel feeder mounted on the post for the front porch helps. They're not eating out of my hand, like Little Mama at the parsonage, but they are getting braver and come a bit closer all the time. I keep a half gallon ice cream bucket filled with peanuts close to the front door. I figure in a year or so I'll have them sitting on the glider with me.

Too funny. When i was in TX, i was playing golf at this one course and I dont know what it was, but the squirrels has the biggest set of b-a-double hockey sticks I had ever seen for the size of their little bodies. They were so big it was like they had their own little ottoman dragging around with them. They could just lean back and have a seat on them whenever they wanted. If you were to scale it up to human size, it'd be like walking around with a bean bag chair. This was ten years ago, and I'm still amazed by it.

Good Day,
We had a grease fire in the kitchen bad enough to scorch the cabinets. You can imagine the amount of smoke in the house. We called a fire / water restoration company. They put an ozone generator in the house. Seams the ozone will go any place the smoke molecules go and the ozone neutralizes the smoke molecule. We did not have a smoke smell even on (Southern) high humidity days. Worked Great.
