Weekend Plans
What do y'all have planned for the weekend???
I've got a stress test this afternoon and if that turns out o.k, then...
I plan to start building LOML (and me) a jewelry cabinet. I need a place to store my collection of pocket knives, various watches and other assorted stuff. The dresser drawer they currently reside in is getting cluttered.
I picked up 32 bf. ft. of S2S Cherry yesterday. Sure hope I don't waste much, considering what that stuff costs. LOL
Sunday evening I head back to Houston for 2 wonderful weeks of living in a motel and working in the office. ;)

32 BF seems like it'd make a heck of a big jewelry cabinet! How big are your knives?!

RE: Weekend Plans
There's (at least) two kinds of stress tests. My dad has done them both. One is apparently quite a workout. Be prepared to step on your tongue.
Good luck, Cody.

Matt,
Yeah, this is that treadmill thing and not the drug induced.
Add to that, I take a drug to regulate my heart rate...it's normally around 55 bpm at rest. My target rate on the stress test is around 130 bpm, so I have to really hump it to reach that.
Dave,
I hope to have enough of that Cherry to build an end table, also. I just got all the straight stuff that the lumberyard had. It was slim pickings, too. :)

One of the local Rockler Stores is having their 50th anniversary sale tomorrow. 50% off the first 50 bf of cherry, walnut, red oak and/or white oak. I'll be heading over first thing in the morning to stock up.

RE: Weekend Plans
There are 4 different stress tests (two drug induced) and I've had them all. The adenozine one, although not painful, is one of the most uncomfortable procedures I've had.

RE: Weekend Plans
Cody, Did they ask you to stop your heart beat medicine a day before the stress test? They usually do. Anyhow, if the stress test shows something that needs immediate attention they'll put you right into the hospital. Otherwise, it will be a few weeks before you get your results back from the Cardiologits. Even if there is something that needs fixing you'll be OK in the interim so don't worry and enjoy. I'm not a fan of the treadmill test as they usually find an incline/speed combination that trashes my knees, the recumbent bike one is much nicer on the joints.

I've got a Habitat house I'll be hanging sheet rock in with my church tomorrow. First time out and really looking forward to it.
