You are right Monty,I have given up on the EC,now how do I get make up air if I go with a window A/C..............I can't go thru the brick wall or garage door(deed restrictions). The other two walls are insulated and besides they are house exterior,it wouldn't be to good to have a A/C unit taken in makeup air from a bedroom or computer room LOL

I could put a louvered appliance thru the garage door, then I would have to get to the window unit with some sort of ducting, I guess a rectangular plenum with a quick disconnect would be the answer to that and would not be to be very expensive. I'll have to think on that a bit,,,,,,,, hmmmmmmm.............. If I got two small window units and mounted both in/on the garage door,I would have to make some sort of support mechanism(think, think) so they could just ride up and down on the door most of ,if not all of the unit would be inside the shop. I could then put a louvered appliance on the outside of the garage door and not violate deed restrictions.I thought you were supposed to take it easy when you were retired and not have to build chit when it was summertinme hot and A/C prices were at there highest.I guess that is what is called poor planning, maybe this will become a winter projedt.
