    pool table

Anyone ever build one? I just traded for a used, rather beat up, pool table. It is a 7' slate top table, well worth rebuilding, but I am thinking of starting from the slate and building new. Have $150 in it so far.

    RE: pool table

I've been thinking about building one for a while but just have not gotten around to doing it. I bought plans from http://www.pooltableplans.com These are excelent plans very detailed. They have pocket and rail templates so you get the geomerty right. They have several models in the plans and a couple of variations of each model. While I am not going build the exact models they have in the plans , the plans are good enogh to allow some tweaking in the style.

edit : Oh yeah, I got the "Build Your Dream Pool Table " plans

    RE: pool table

Bought one of these CDs about building a pool table. Saved the article about it but the referance to the FW magazine is wrong. That issue makes no mention of pool tables according to a guy that was selling that very issue. Why would the seller lie, to keep me from bidding? I think between the article, CD, and tearing mine apart I can do it without paying $80 for a book. Hope so anyway. Thanks for every RE.
