    my latest shameless gloat ...

    man i'm having some fun .. :)

    got me one of these:

    to replace one of these:

and it produces that baby butt smooth finish that everyone claims, and it throws all of the sawdust into the DC :)

i have the same planner and love the heck out of it! I just made a dining room table from some reclaimed 3x5's and it's made my life easy! Real loud though! Luck would have it that i just picked up ear protection in case my wife wanted to have one of her little dicussions!

yeah they are loud, i was considering one of the jet 13" beefier planers but didn't justify it .. plus i wanted the two speed ..

as far as ear protection .. i've got mine built in .. i already wear hearing aids .. when i'm in the shop, i just turn 'em off and leave 'em in :)

    Nice Machine,

I have the DW733 and it is nice.

The DW 735 just has to be better.

Sweet machine, SWMBO bought me one for my birthday the year they came out... I love it... I bought the bag attachment that fits on a garbage can, works like a dream... but now that I have a DC, I just hook it up to that.. and your right those chips really do fly... LOL

When you bump up the cuts to the finish level (179?) the results are very nice. You'll be pleased.

yup .. did that on my test piece .. very nice indeed ..

    fyi to all ..

how much better is it after you wax the tables?

never did it on my 733, sometimes the piece would get stuck when my cut is too deep ..

Hi,Big daddy, just got me one of those last week and the dust thingy just came in today. This is my first planer so i haven`t even turned it on yet.So maybe, if you don`t mind,i`ll be asking you some questions as to how to use this and that on it.I have to go to the box store and buy me a can for it,i~m glad old grizz say that the dust thingy works OK.I kinda move slow around things that are new to me.Regards, Carl
