Brings back memories of my old phillips CD player I had.
It was one of those original 'portable' kinds that was about the size of a toaster, and as it grew older sometimes it would take longer to get to the next track...
The kind of moment that becomes obvious suddenly because of no music playing after 20 seconds even though you were staring at a computer screen...Once a humming was heard actualy amplifying through the stereo that grew in volume and pitch, so I ran over, pressed the eject button (top opener) and the disk actualy flew out of the player, rose up a good foot or two, tilted and burried itself into the bed that was next to it.
Good drunken teenage nights.
