How about some new aquaintance? It's always good to see a regular coming back to the forum. Welcome back.

ALL RIGHT!! MARILYN'S BACK!!
...WHO'S MARILYN?? :P :P
Seriously Marilyn, it's great to have you back!! This place wasn't the same without you, and it had nothing to do with the fact that your area of practice (if that's the correct term for nurses) is what most of us need.
Thanks for your condolences. As with all the support I have received from this group, your words and thoughts are appreciated more than I can say. Once the initial pain of Mary's death eases, I too will get back to woodworking. I just don't think that it is safe for me right now. My mind is too distracted and the emotional strain has taken its toll on my neuromuscular disorders. But I think by the time I am back from my whirlwind tour of the upper Midwest next month I'll be ready to get that sawdust flying.
These last 11 months, and especially the last few weeks of Mary's life have given me a new appreciation of nurses. The caring and compassion we experienced did so much to help us through this difficult time. Marilyn, you can be proud of the profession you chose and the job you do!!
Now, if the wind direction is right I expect to start smelling saw dust down here in St. James. Again, WELCOME BACK!! WE MISSED YA!!

HIYA, Marylyn!
Never lost faith that you'd be back in your own good time! Great to see you here again!
So do tell, did you ever get that turret lathe turned into a woodworking lathe? Or did you decide to get a regular wood lathe? (Well, OK, not a wood lathe, but a metal lathe to turn wood on. Oh, #####, you know what I mean.)
WECOME BACK! :D :D :D :D :P
(I changed ISP's, so have a new emailibus addreseus. In profile.) I sold my bike last Dec; bought a pontoon boat, and fish a lot now. Retiring Oct. 1st and will be working part time when I feel like it. Otherwise I live on meds to keep me moving with my back.
Life's a beach, so play volleyball.)

Sonny,
If life's a beach, does that mean a child's sandbox is a son of a beach? :P :P

RE: back again...
Umm, yeah, I think so.
The Grandson used to be a gas when I'd say,"Come on, Chase, let's go to the sunny beach."
He'd say, "Yea Grandpa, let's go the sunnabeach." :o (And it sounded like it shouldn't. Because he hadn't quite got the "Y" down yet. }> )
I got the biggest kick out of that. Twisted individual that I am. }> His Mama and Grandma would always wince. :7
