    RE: A new show on DIY -- Trade School

    I discovered that show recently too. There was an episode last week, I think, about gunsmithing. Fascinating stuff. Wish I had access to that info when I was still a kid in school. At the time, I thought most of these trades had been "automated", that everything was done by machine now. I think I would have much preferred to work with my hands rather than sit behind a desk all day. Anyway, glad to see skill and craftsmanship are still needed.

    Yes this is a pretty good show. I saw the show where a woodworker builds his own workbench. Has any one else seen this episode?

    A new show on DIY -- Trade School

    I stumbled across this show last night. As the show's title says, it's about people going through a trade school to learn or improve their skills in a wide varity of trades.
