Colonoscopy PSA
Hey guys;
I have advocated from time to time for different health issues on the forum. Heart health and so on.
Today my topic is Colonoscopy- get em! This video should inspire you to make that appointment TODAY! (first few seconds are in italian, but you'll get the rest.)
I was surprised that Youtube placed such a public service announcement, but props to them for doing so.

Kerry,
Although this forum does generally seem to be frequented by the middle-age and mature-age crowd (i.e. olpharts! :)), some of us are under 40. My recollection is that colonoscopy procedures are not typically performed under a certain age, no? 40? 50?

Ahhh yes, good old high blood pressure. Combine that with a congenital bad heart and I shouldn't have to worry about old age.

Did anyone actually watch the PSA video???? I was Rolling on the floor laughing my prostate off.
I've never had a Doc sing the Lou Rawls part to me, but I've sure sang the Damon Wayans part.
I've also seen Chevy Chase do a nice "Moon River" rendition as well...

Takes me forever to get to those YouTube clips... but fortunately I recognized the URL. I'd seen that one a couple days ago (at the office). :) :) :)

RE: Colonoscopy PSA
That be the case unless you have a family history of colon cancer.
I get a PSA every year (or so) when I get my physical. Had my first colonoscopy last month. Did the "put me to sleep" one and everything checked out fine, so I'm good to go for 10 years. Worst part is the fasting and flushing starting the day before.
