    Rocky rocks...

    Rocky to his son...

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!"

Love this guy, what'd you guys think? I took my Mom & Dad last night, very inspirational to us.

    Haven't seen it Paula.
But I know my Betty speaks very highly of Sylvester Stallone. Her Son did a bit of background acting as a child and she and Chris had the pleasure of personally meeting with him.
Of the "Hollywood types", Sly ain't. He is a very nice person that really cares.
It is kinda funny how often what you see and feel from their acting, actually plays out in real life. The good guys are often just as good in person. ;)

The brats are usually azzholes off camera as well. Spoiled brats all the way. :'(

    :D

I want to see it... I think it's amazing that the character Sly created has kept the appeal for so long... that alone says something eh :)

I have seen interviews and he seems to be pretty intelligent also. Nice to see.

That's true Sonny, it's funny how if you know the actor is an azz you don't get into the movie as much. I hadn't heard anything about Sly, it's nice to hear he's a decent guy.

That quote I highlighted really hit home. It's been so true in my experience. I'm thinking of taking on the nickname punchy soon :) Just had another one, two punch doozies lately, could have led to a knockout. Like the quote says though, it's if you can take it, and more importantly keep moving forward. I'm moving forward come hell or high water.

It's funny, I was at kickboxing today and the rocky song came on... sure was therapeutic to kick that bags' azz :) :)

You guys should see it, or rent it when it comes out. Although the fight scene was well done this time and nice to see on the big screen.
