    I read articles like this every day

    in the USPS NewLinks I receive via e-mail:

    Just as Sparta, NC, Rural Carrier James Taylor reached a customer’s door to deliver a package, a woman collapsed. Taylor caught her, brought her inside and dialed 911. He waited for help to arrive. The woman had suffered a stroke. The woman’s daughter later visited Taylor’s work station and said that her mother would have died had Taylor not acted quickly.

    Hurray for the country's mail carriers. :)
