    Fire Dept called

    This is funny. My birthday is today, my son had his yesterday. Tomorrow is our big party. To celebrate, we are hosting a monster BBQ. My father showed up today around lunch to fire up both our smokers. I have a New Braunfels cold smoker and he has a Char Broil electric stack. The menu consists of 45+ lbs of meat (brisket, ribs, and chicken). I went home over lunch to help him fire up everything. I headed back to work and get a call around 2 pm from Dad. Seems someone called the fire dept thinking the vacant neighboring house was set afire!! Dad said 3 firemen showed up to see what was going on. After a quick check they asked when the party was!! :) :) :)
