Yessir. I'll be there. I might be in our WW club's booth, but most likely I'll be wandering around trying to bump into famous people.

nope... too far away :)
I'm curious, is this a traveling show sort of thing that goes to differnt cities?
I don't think I have ever seen an add for a woodworking show up here in my area.

I'll be there Friday afternoon. I've got my list started on what I "might" want to pick up if the price is right. Mostly consumable supplies (sandpaper, etc.) but I am looking for a few other items. I also take a list with "known prices" to keep me making stupic purchases.

Painter's Pyramids 10pk 5.99
Work Sharp Sharpening system WS3000 ea 199.98

Brad,
Yup, this one travels around the country to various cities. Check out the info here:

Though it's been getting smaller and smaller each year, it was just bought out this year and hopefully things will turn around.

RE: Anyone going to the WW Show in Sac?
That's a very good plan, Jim.
I have the Worksharp. Crazy thing is I bought it awhile ago and then bought the house so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. It's still brand new and has bout 20 seconds of time on the motor.
I usually get my sanding belts at the shows each year - but I really stocked up last year and haven't been consuming them lately so I still have plenty. I think this year I'll be going on Saturday to check things out, but I'm not sure how long I'll stay. If it's crummy, I probably won't hang out for long.
In past years, my wife and I would prepare well in advance. We'd freeze some soda bottles full of water and keep a soft cooler full of soda and sandwiches. We'd break out the cushioned in-soles for a full day of walking around. Last year, though, we were only there for half a day and then it was just boring.
I really hope to be surprised this year and lose my whole weekend to it.
