    A new lap top

A New laptop arrived today. A 17" screen with more disk and RAM than I'll ever need. (Well disk and RAM ain't true because Murphy is alive and well.)

I am discovering why people hate Vista! Somebody needs to take control of the programmers at MS. I haven't seen a single change that was necessary, only changes because they could.

I do NOT like using the IE format for Windows Explorer.

    Use [link:www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ | Firefox] then.
Took me a while to get to like it, but it seems to work well.

That's not what he's talking about. He's talking about the "webified" means of handling files on your computer. It's stupid and unproductive the way they do it now.

Then again, I'm happy with a DIR or ls command, so maybe it's just us, Rich :P

    Rich,

Vista is just the new Windows ME. Seems Bill and team is only capable of a so called "Solid" OS every other release :)

Next go round should be better, I hope....
