    CjR.Misc - Ever notice

That even though you know there are residual oil in a lot of places in an engine, when you change the oil, you tend to wait and wait for the very last drop to come out the oil drain.

That even though the food is exactly the same, if you set up the table with good china, your spouse thinks it's a much better meal.

That the amount of praise your mate heaps up on you in public is inversely proportional to the amount of flak you catch in private.

I still wanna' know where that other quart went.

    Dipstick full.
Drain the oil. Get three quarts out.
Drop the filter - assume it's got a quart in it. That's four.

Refill the engine... it takes FIVE quarts.
    Dipstick full.

I know where that last quart went.

It ran all over your hand, wrist, and finally dripped off your elbow as soon as the filter came free.

I am a great believer in luck. The harder I work, the more of it I seem to have.
