Not sure where you are going with this... but an I/R specialist is what civilians call a Corrections Officer or Prison Guard.

The Army has an equivalent job to almost any job in civilian life.

I'll answer this one. That depends; how bad do I want to get out? The more I want out, the more untrained I'd like the guard to be!

I think I get what your concern is... As long Obama has union thugs to "control" things, I think you can feel safe around military personnel. I have a nephew in the Amy for 4 years now and I don't believe he would turn on his own countrymen.
