Barrister Bookcase
I built this bookcase as a wedding present for my brother a few years back.

Nice bookcase!
Does it stack-up (individual sections moveable)?
I want to make one of those someday... Saw a good project in Popular Woodworking a few months ago... looked pretty nice... & not too hard to do.
I guess the real tricky part is the Groove along the top sides with the dowels placed just right to allow the doors to fold down to close.
What plan did you follow?
Thanks foir showing!

I don't remember where i bought the plans at, but this seems to be the same thing. Yes, the sections do stack on top of one another. The plans I had called for two sections, but I built an extra one.
What kind of wood do you plan on building it with?

What a beautiful job. Looks like a hundred year old piece from a lawyer's office.....
I'd be very proud had I built that.
