Dent in gunstock
I am in the middle of putting clear coating on a refinished gun stock. It slipped to the floor and dented the wood. Is there any way I can get this dent out without having to undo all the word I have put into this. I have heard that there is a steaming process that will do it but I do not know how to go about it. Anyone have any information? Thanks Jimmiebear@wooding.com

RE: Dent in gunstock
Try putting a damp washcloth over the dent, and ironing the area until it's got a little steam rising from it. Don't expect miracles though...you may get the wood to rise a little or a lot...depending on what type wood, severity of the dent, etc.
Good Luck
Marc
