ok, i just got one of these shapers, it is missing the nut and the keyed washer that holds the cutter blades on. does anyone know what thread this nut is or where i can get one along with the keyed washer. i have tried regular thread, fine thread and even a 1/2'" acme thread w/10 threads. am i looking at it wrong or is it something that craftsman just came up with, they don't stock it online anymore. and the parts manual shows it on the spindle schematic but doesn't give any details. it does look like some sort of flat acme type thread. thanks in advance for any help.
