Is there a saw to cut boards in tight spaces???

I have some facia board that is rotting at the corners. I want to it out and replace it. The problem is, There is a gutter attache to the facia board that runs in a single run (no seems) for 40 feet. I REALLY don't want to take off the gutter.

The facia board is 2x6. There is about a 3/4 inch gap between the back of the gutter and the board. I need to cut about a 20 inch piece out and replace it.

If I use a reciprocating saw, it will bounce against the soffit and not be able to cut. I can't get a circular saw in there obviously. I could hand saw it but again there is only a 3/4 inch gap.

Is there some sort of small rotary saw that could fit between the gutter and the board and cut into the 2x6 so I could remove it???

Would something like the Craftsman 17438 Nextec 12-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Multi-Tool, or the Fein Multi-Master do what you need to do?

You can use a toekick saw to cut it free or compound miter saw.

I was thinking about this while I was working in my yarh yesterday.

You can drill a series of holes in the 2x6, and use a chisel and hand gouge to get it out.
