    Question Router upgrade

    hi all, i saw a luthier tips video where he uses a Porter Cable router with a spring loaded plunge lock. any idea what model that is of if there are other plunge routers with that type of locking mechanism? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oi9HVsVjtgE < 3:45-4:30 ish

    Looks like the PC 690 with the plunge base (6391) --which is sold as a PC 693

    thanks for all the help guys. luthiery is just to precise to have the lateral movement that i get with my 2hp Ryobi. still a great router for a beginner and for general purpose stuff.
