    Custom "Dragon" Trellis

I am a student studying Engineering Management Technology and woodworking has been a hobby of mine for a long time. This is a trellis I designed with purely my imagination on the computer using a Google program called "Sketchup". I was interested in seeing if I could build something in real time after designing it on this program with proportionality limits found my measuring the desired location of the end product. I created this design to hold complicated angels and measurements to really test the ability to take a design built directly onto the computer and build it in real time. So I have included the design I created from the computer and the finished product, after a few outside changes to the base, the dimension's for the construction of the "Dragon" support holding the trellis was copied directly from the computer. I would be interested in any feed back along with questions anyone may have.

    Thanks, kzmich

thanks allot deepsplinter! and yes everything except for the base which is just treated 2x4's is cedar. The segments are connected with a sort of hybrid mortis and tendon which is easier to see in the pictures on my profile I uploaded. thanks for the interest and good to be apart of the forum!!
