Recycled Cigar Box??
Hi new here, ...thought I might share how I recycled this cigar box into a puzzle box that takes knowing the combination to open the lid. The parts are found at any craft store, a small hardwood knob, some 1/4" dowel, a 1/2" x 1 1/4" hardwood disc and a 1/8" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" hardwood disc. Other than drilling some holes in the box and into the knob, it was all pretty straight forward. The only tricky part was aligning the 1/4" hardwood pin in the underside of the lid with the flat side on the inside disc, and really, it wasn't that difficult. A much finer finished product than those silly purses I 've seen selling on ebay, (lol, and no offense intended if you happen to be making them, ...yikes!)
It only took about 1 hour to build, and I thinking that maybe other guys would get a kick out of making one of these cool conversation pieces.

OK, what's the combination?

I am a great believer in luck. The harder I work, the more of it I seem to have.
