    Finishing basement Bar

I'm trying to find a good wood to finish my bar with. I'm not talking about the counter top. It's framed with 3/4 inch plywood. I want to cover the front and side with some type of wood using a brad nailer. I would like to stain or paint it brown afterwards. The front is 8 ft and the height is 40". I was thinking a real good 3/8 inch plywood from Lowes. I'm not aware of any other wood I could use. I've heard veneer wood but not sure what that is. Helllp!

Wood veneer would be a great alternative for you. And it's pretty easy to install. http://www.oakwoodveneer.com/tips/oa...neer-guide.pdf
