    Thumbs up Wrap-around bench with trestle storage table

    Folks,

    Client is a referral from another client. New client wished to replace a bench located in a small dining area off their kithen with something with more space, plus have a table to precisely fit within the confines of that area. So it begins...

    Table is white oak butcher block, laminated together to be wide, then cut into a square at 45.75". Trestle legs are birch and ash, painted white. The client wanted as much storage in the confines of the room as possible, so I made a storage drawer for between the trestle legs to hold placemats and such...

    Bench itself is actually three sections to completely fill the perimeter of the room. The side sections were also made with custom sized drawers, to provide access to electrical outlets and to the only heat duct in the space. Birch was the main species and white satin lacquer is the color...
