Would any of you all be able to point me in the right direction as to where I could find a set of router lettering templates for larger lettering...say 8-12" high letters for some inlay work that I would like to do? I have found about all of the 1 1/2- 2 1/2" templates on the web and what I'm really needing is larger than that. Thanks for your help and suggestions. I've been a drafter for years so the lettering myself wouldn't be a problem, but the time in making an entire set of letter templates might be a little much. Thanks for the help.
I think you best bet would be to make them yourself. Use your printer to print out 1 letter per page in any font that you like. Use some spray adheasive to sick it to some 1/4" hardboard, if you have a scroll saw that would work great to cut out the pattern, if not a jig saw and a spindle sander or something along those lines to cut out the template. It would take a while to make them all, but then you have them all and don't have to make them again and they were really cheep. You only need to make them as you need them too. So figure out the letters for your first project and make those, when you need more later make them at that time.
Another way is to use a laser printer or copier and print the mirror image of the letter then you can put it face down on the hardboard and using an Iron it should transfer some of the ink for you to use to cut on.
In order for the separator to work correctly, you need to set up a "cyclonic" action inside the can. This means the intake is near the outer edge of the can and a fitting directs the air flow around...
