    Lathe

    I am in the process of setting up a shop and have been looking at lathes. The 12 inch Grizzley seems to be pretty good for the price and I have read several reviews that say it is good for the money. Anyone have any suggestions for a good lathe for the money and important accessories such as a supernova chuck.

    I have the new Craftsman and am very happy. It has a 15" inbord and 20" outboard turning. The bed is 38" long. And it is veriable speed. I got it for $450.

    I have a Jet 1236 and really like it. Well designed, well machined and runs smoothly.
