close cut saw
I have been looking for a "close cut saw" to cut 3/4 inch hardwood flooring to a sheet rock wall (to a 90 degree wall). Does anyone know who makes this saw, or another name for this saw? I have been unable to find a store, catalog, or website for this tool. This is not for new construction, but rather, an existing structure. Any help appreciated.

RE: close cut saw
Dennis,
I think I've seen what you are looking for on an old episode of This Old House. I don't know the name of it, but try asking Norm on his website: http://www.newyankee.com
Hope this helps.

RE: close cut saw
Is that the same saw they use to cut 3/4 off of the bottom of door jams for installing floors? I looks like a router or edge sander with a saw blade on the bottom. If that sounds like what you're looking for, try Berland's House of Tools in Palatine, IL. If they don't have it, it doesn't exist.
(no, I'm not a shareholder, I just really like that store)

Berland's is my *favorite* store! They have a website (if you don't live in Illinois) too: http://www.thetoolman.com
Check it out....
