Has anyone tried the Jacobs collet for the PC 690? I've seen it in the grizzly catalog and wanted some comments on it before I buy it. It eliminates the need for two wrenches and is supposed to enable the user to change bits without tools. For $45 bucks it seems like it would be worth it.
I have read a couple of reviews on it. It works but, it reduces the adjustment range on your router. It extends the effective collet lenght and reduces how much you can adjust the debth of cut.
I would check it our at a tools store on a 690 series before I bought one.
Hi Russell,
I am interested in where you acquired the inlaybanding in the last picture?
I make and sell this or very similar on www.inlaybanding.com
