cabinet vs contractors
I think I have a pretty good feel for the difference between the two types of table saws. However, if there is something besides fence system, voltage, price, and extensions, would you please share. Thanks.

RE: cabinet vs contractors
The weight has a major influence on vibration of the saw.
The Cabinet saws are design for saw dust extraction. Is a big deal.
The Trunion design is much much better in terms of keeping the arbor true with much less chance of runout. It allows for a rack and pinion system for tilt vs a threaded rod and nut that is used in the contractor units.
Power to cut through almost anything. The blade won't stall out on these units. Even cutting 12/4 Oak.
Over all it is a much better machine
