    My New Tablesaw

After sitting down and having an amusing time reading all of the posts on the Ryobi table saw, I did decide to buy one. I checked quite a few places for the best price and ended up getting it at Costco for $500.00. The great part of the deal is all of the accessories it comes with, that I needed anyway.

It had the long fence, wheel kit and base, hold down clamps, seperate router base extention wing and the 1.5 HP Ryobi router, zero clearence throat as well as one for use with a DaDo stack. The list goes on. If any one is planing on getting this saw, check out Costco.

I was up till midnight putting it all together and will check to make sure everything is lined up over the weekend. It looks like a snowy weekend here in Western Mass and I have a couple more hundred feet of hardwood to put down. The saw will sure help. Already have the Ryobi 8" Sliding compound miter saw. Does a great job, but wish the dust collection was better.

When I am up and running I will let you know how accurate it is ripping 8 ft Maple flooring.

Congratulations on your new saw, you'll love it! When you do your setup , make sure the SMT is adjusted so that when you lock down the 2 front clamps , the slide is square to the blade, then locking the rear clamps holds this position. The same applies to the ripping fence. There are heaps of adjustment points on this saw which allow for the finest tuning. Have fun and be safe !

    Scott,

Congradulations on the new saw. Be sure and checkout the Ryobi Forum. There's more information on the BT3000 than you could ever imagine.

When you're doing your setup, squirt some lubricant behind the two screws that hold the blade guard on the flat surface that contacts the frame. You'll find it binds when raising and lowering the blade after a while if you don't.

    Good luck, have fun!!!
