Here's my latest creation. I always wanted one of these hardware store nut and bolt cabinets, but never could quite afford a real antique. So I designed and built my own.
The verticals, drawer dividers, and drawer bottoms are baltic birch. The rest is all solid oak, with the drawer fronts and bases and tops being quartersawn oak. Instead of hanging the top drawer unit on a pipe, I used a 17" lazy susan bearing assembly instead, let into the top and bottom units to keep the gap to1/4".
