Removing Glue from Clamps (Part 2)

Read the recent comments about removing glue from clamps. Another way
to handle the situation is to save all your old aluminum foil. Cut it
in strips about 2 inches wide and the length of your project to be
glued. Fold them over the clamp bars so that the excess glue is on the
aluminum foil and not the clamps. I do this all the time. Possibly not
practical for huge projects but works perfect for making butcher
blocks, trivet's, and similar size projects. - Ev Robb, Brainerd, MN
